Disney Vacation Day 7
Today is Wednesday, and it’s our Magic Kingdom Day! Last night we took the shuttle to Disney Springs. Wow – it was amazing. I never expected to listen to so much live music, see so many great sights, get the kids on more rides?!
We had dinner at House of Blues where the staff was AMAZING about food allergies and cross contact. The chef came out and talked to us, even brought out labels and double checked on the manufacturing facility of the corn bread. SO SO SO thankful for caring peeps like the ones at House of Blues. This place was very eclectic. The music was amazing, the decor had us all occupied, and it was VERY kid friendly.
After House of Blues we walked abound and stopped to:
- Harley-Davidson store
- Photos with Storm Troopers
- Glowing Light Sabers
- Live Music x 3
- Ghirardelli Chocolate Ice Cream Shoppe
- Rode a Train x2
- Shopped at Zara
- Window shopped at Kate Spade
- Marvel Store
- Star Wars Store
There was so much to see and do, it could have been an “all-day” activity.
So for today….we got an early start – eveyone was finally healthy enough to do MK. Here’s what we did.
Breakfast in our room, left for Monorail by 8:45. We got to the park at 9:00 and waited in line to check in. Standing in line you get to hear all the famous parental one-liners. Hilarious.
Rides we rode:
- Magic Carpets of Aladdin
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Haunted Mansion (both kids LOVED it)
- Small World
- Little Mermaid
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- Mad Tea Party
- Winne the Pooh Adventure
- Met with Cinderella
- Met with Princess Elena
- Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger
- People Mover
- Carousel
- Sit down lunch
- Quick snack in Adventureland
- Fireworks
- Disney Parade
It was a LOOOONG day, and Chloe fell asleep in the stroller on the walk home. She said she did not feel good – but we had a hard time figuring out what was going on.
